Forbes named eight property, casualty and life insurance companies among the best employers in the world. 2023 America’s Best Midsize Employers a list that covers nine industries. To determine the best American employers, research firm Forbes and Statista surveyed about 45,000 American employees in organizations that employ between 1,000 and 5,000 people. Survey respondents rated whether they would recommend their employer on a scale of zero to 10 and were also asked to name other employers they would recommend to friends or family members.
Digital Insurance asked eight recognized P&C and life insurance insurers for their comments on being recognized as one of the top 100 midsize insurance employers in the United States. Shelter Insurance, NJM Insurance Group and Amica provided direct responses, while Hanover Insurance Group and Selective Insurance provided press release statements. Responses from Aflac, Symetra and American Fidelity were not received in time for publication.
